HOW WE WORK
(HOW YOU MAKE MONEY)
THE BENEFIT OF THE I-SE
The Intellectual-Stock Exchange helps independent musicians and rights holders generate income by finding prospective investors who are interested in investing into their music catalog through licensing or fully purchasing the rights to their song/s, and also by allowing investors the opportunity to acquire ownership rights to a musician's current and future royalty payouts.
LICENSING I-S (Licensing Intellectual-Stock)
If an investor desires to license a song or songs, he or she will have a nonexclusive right to exploit the song/s for profit, while paying the original content owner an agreed upon licensing fee. The original content owner will remain the owner of the song/s, and can also continue to exploit their song/s as they see fit, creating a double income stream from their music.
SELLING I-S (Selling Intellectual-Stock)
If the original rights holder (usually a musician or record label) would like to fully transfer the rights of their music over to an investor, the original rights holder can sell their music to an investor for a one-time agreed upon fee.
BUYING/SELLING Royalties (Current and Future)
If a musician would like to sell their current and future royalty payouts to an investor, while still owning the rights to their song/s, they can do so by entering into an agreement with an investor for an agreed upon price, and for an agreed upon length of time. This usually happens if the original rights holder is in need of immediate cash, and the royalty payout from their music is not suffice to fill their financial demand. This type of deal has great 'long term' earning potential for prospective investors.
